| Performance Series 2012-2013 - Music at Whistler - A Night at The Opera This will be a tribute to the 200th anniversary of Richard Wagner (The Ring of the Nebelung), 150th anniversary of Pietro Mascagni (Cavallenia Rusticana), and the 100th anniversary of Heorhiy Maiboroda (Yaroslav the Wise). The celebration includes members of the Vancouver Opera Company including Leslie Dala (piano), Tawnya Popoff (viola), and Ariel Barnes (cello) as well as soloists and chorus members. The evening will include a range of both familiar as well as rarely heard arias and instrumental music by world-renowned opera composers.
