Introduce yourself to the fundamentals of drawing (and painting), or/and work with a variety of materials to create your own unique pieces. Whether you are new to art or advanced in your skills and seeking a creative challenge, Explore Fine Arts is a fun way to experiment with mediums, improve your technique, develop your style and meet other art enthusiasts!
Instructor Bio: Allee Wells
Allee Wells has been practicing art for most of her life. She attended a Fine Arts High School in Ottawa, ON, completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Vancouver’s Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design in 2005, and received her Early Childhood Education Certificate from Capilano University in 2011. Allee has been teaching art for over 12 years to children aged 2 and up. While living in Vancouver, she taught at places such as the Arts Umbrella and the Vancouver Art Gallery. She currently works as a full-time preschool teacher at the Whistler Children’s Centre. She strongly believes that creativity, arts and education are all integrally connected and she is very passionate about combining them to create exciting learning experiences. She has shown her work in Ottawa, Vancouver and Whistler.
