Day 1: It’s the revival of Macrame! Inspired by the 70’s fad (and probably seen in your grandma’s home) it has been revived with a tasteful modern appeal. Create your own beautiful and unique macrame wall hanging and bring texture and life to your space.
Macrame is making a reappearance in today’s decor. Wall hangings and plant hangers can be found all over walls in modern homes giving character and texture to a space. Diane will teach you several different knotting techniques and you will be provided with everything you need to make and leave with a completed wall hanging.
All macrame supplies provide.
The Alta Lake Station House is located 4 kms south of Whistler Village and is accessible by car, bike or foot. Parking is at Wayside Park, not adjacent to the venue and requires a short walk to the location along a paved trail. The venue is equipped with a full service kitchen, complete with stove and refrigerator.
